Famous Residents
We would like to welcome everyone to attend the Fulton County Historical Power Show the third full weekend in June every year – this year June 19-21, 2015. Our feature this year will be Minneapolis Moline tractors, Gravely garden tractors, feature business – Napa; and featured farm R & M Lowry. Lowry’s are big Moline collectors – check them out in big display tent down in the exhibit field. Banquet on Saturday evening at museum – cost $12.00 per person.
Redbud Trail Rendezvous
You are invited to come enjoy this spring rendezvous at the site of the Trail of Courage when the redbuds are blooming. See the Fulton County Museum, Round Barn Museum, Living History Village, and how much has been done since last time you were here! The round barn and the Polke House are repaired. AGAIN THIS YEAR WE WILL SET UP IN LIVING HISTORY VILLAGE JUST SOUTH OF ROUND BARN. WE ARE INCLUDING CIVIL WAR – SO TIME PERIOD WILL BE PRE-1865.
Haunted Woods
Each year we do something a little different - depending on what volunteers that we have. Sometimes things change from night to night or weekend to weekend. Fun for the whole family - note when little ones in the groups word is passed so that kids don't go home with nightmares. Proceeds all support the Fulton County Historical Society Museum.
